Yes. There is designated area where the dogs can't go, which is about 1/2 of the beach (where the lifeguards are). Everything else is dog friendly. I take my dog there all the time.
Yes, I go there with my dogs often. There are trails as well as the beach where they are allowed on leash, I was just there last week. You may want to avoid the lifeguarded area as people like to complain regardless of the signs. I usually sit to the far right if you're facing the ocean, nice and quiet there too.
No this beach is not. They recently added signs saying that dogs are not allowed on the beach. I tried to take my dog there a couple weeks ago to swim but ended up going to Oakland Beach instead
