Last year I was charged a fee to enter conimicut park in Warwick ri, WHY?

Oakland Beach tried to charge for parking. Lasted 3 days. Residents complained.

Never have I encountered a fee going there anytime throughout the season the past 7 years or so up to this year

I'm not entirely sure. Probably because it's a greedy liberal town. They didn't use the money to clean the beach, so I'm not entirely positive.
