my dog(a boxer) was recently diagnosed with cancer...we are giving him Benadryl 3X DAILY but its knocking him out. Is there a non drowsy medication that we can use that is equal to Benadryl?

Not really. People medicine is mostly designed for people, although there are some medications that animals can take. You need to contact the vet, and see if there is a decent medication to help your dog. It really needs treatment.
