They will open. If your read the website, there's no rain checks. You have to physically be there and they have to shut things down to get a new ticket. I went with rain in forecast, like 90% rain. Everyone must've thought it was going tiki rain because it was empty. IT WAS AWESOME! No lines for anything and most of the pools we had to ourselves.
As long their is no thunder and/or lightning, they should be open when it rains. But im not 100% shure. Their website says only in extreme cases like thunder and lightning they will close. If you go to google type in is water country open when it rains and hit the link with a q&a, one of the questions will be similar to the one you asked. But to my knowledge they are open when it rains.
It can be nice when there is a warm rain. What difference does it make being wet in a water park? The crowds will be gone. I also wonder why folks dry their hands.
