Your not allowed to bring food or snacks of your own into the theater and if you have a big enough bag they'll check it
The rules say that you cant bring your own food, but sometimes when the movie cinema is very crowded, the people dont check you. I have friends that have brought up food from downstairs and have been fine. It really depends on whos working there that day, and how busy the cinema is.
