Horrible customer service! I went to the printer area, and a woman there wanted to charge me exaggerated to cut a notebook. I went to other staples stores and this is the worst store, is not my first time having this experience.

Arthur and Jose represent exactly what customer service means. They both were extremely helpful and attentive. I originally came for a new desk and they mentioned great deals going on for chairs and I could not pass it up. They reviewed the protection plans also. At the end of my purchase they even loaded it in my car without me asking. I was really impressed with them. Thank you Arthur and Jose!

I had the absolute worst experience with Karen the store manager that I’ve ever had at Staples, this morning. Started by her frustrated demeanor when stomping from the back room because an employee needed help with my question about honoring an advertisement sale posted at the store. The ad CLEARLY stated they will price match 110% “any competitors price”. It had no conditions, no ‘see details’, no exceptions at all. Well guess what... Karen came out completely resistant to honoring it. Even to the point where I said it was false advertisement if they weren’t going to honor it... and her response... “OK”. She didn’t care. She didn’t want to help. She didn’t even want to know the competitors price was to see if it was close. She didn’t try at all. She made rules up as she went along because it was about her winning the argument, not putting the customer first. Not to mention it took 2 hours for the whole ordeal and I was the first person in the store in the morning. Super slow. You know I walked out thinking to myself... if this was amazon... this would have never happened. Customers have choices and don’t need to deal with managers like this. Toys R Us, Sears, and other major retailers are filing for bankruptcy at a staggering rate... and customer experience like this, I guarantee, will drive you faster to the bottom. Today, Staples loses. I went to their competitor OfficeMax right up the street and happily gave them my business. I may be a drop in the bucket to Staples and that’s how they treated me, but just a few more of those will turn a community thanks to review sites like this. For me, I won’t ever be back again.
