They have been the reason I am able to make it thru the week with food for my family. Volunteers are awesome.

Everyone is so friendly and very helpful. It's always a nice experience when I go there.

The people that run this organization are very very predjudice and treat people of color disrespectfully. You are told you will not leave there empty handed and that is not true. They asked for it with your address we provided 2 pieces of I’d with our address and we’re turned away we had drivers liscence check book vehicle registration. The front desk girl was looking for anyway possible NOT to allow us any food assistance. This made us feel really bad. She first said she could give something but not the full service amount on this 1st visit still we walked away with nothing, I will report this to the head of the organization. This is scandalous for people in need!!!

I don't normally do this but I'm just a little frustrated/hurt. I waited for a response from this company since November for rental assistance. I'm on unemployment due to corona. Been looking for months but haven't been successful as of yet. After finally getting a phone call back in mid January, I made a partial payment for rent, only so I could try and stay afloat b/c I wasn't sure if they were going to help and the fees were racking up. Everytime I would call in the past, I was told someone would be in contact in two weeks. Today I find out that they will give part of the rent. Grateful, however it doesn't help much as Febuary is around the corner, I'm back to choosing between food or a place to stay. I thought this was going to help my stress level but in turn, it's just going to make me sicker with worry. I've been told only the balance can be taken care of which I guess I have to accept. I understand that there a lot of people in need right now and if I could get it on my own like I have been, I wouldn't even be here. It's just a lesson that I'm learning the hard way.

Please call our Resource Center at 321-765-4984 to set up a one on one appt or you can walk in, yes, but you may not be able to meet with someone right away if we are booked.
You need some paperwork for sure, but they are great, helpful and have a ton of resources to help...and the thrift store is great.
You have to fill out a lot of paper work before they will give you assistance. Make sure to bring proof of residencey and bring some of your bills. You will have to have your budget info as well. After your done they will give you assistance and set you up with your day to come back wkly. Good luck.
