Authentic Mexican food is subjective. I am half Mexican and the recipes for tacos and burritos are slightly different from my Grandma's home cooking. The history shows that the recipes came from a hispanic (don't know his nationality) former owner Benny Vizcarra and 1st employee Amado Madera (don't know his nationality) who refined the recipes back in 1959. What really matters is that they're delicious.
Flavor is subjective. They must be doing something right, theyhave been there for decades. Is it like grandma's cooking? I would say that depends on if your grandma works there. We were just there the other day and there's several grandmas working there. Enjoy!
Yes I would consider it Mexican food
Not typical Mexican food, you will not find anything like it in Mexico. Yes tacos are Mexican but this is more Mexi-American.
So true, it's California Mexican at it's best😁
@ Santiago Salazar I love this place but I don't consider it Mexican. In my opinion it is a little Americanized but still good.
It is called Tito's TACOS and all. So....
Yes, it's tacos etc. They have their own distinct flavor of salsa. The beef has. more. of an authentic taste in my opinion. It's fun cheap and great for people watching
