When did they change the tortilla recipe/source? Always used to be pure masa harina tortillas fried, but now there's an obvious yellow hue with bits of blackened germ (not nixtamalized). The tortillas are thicker too (and no double layer chips).

ve been eating here for over 40 years and two things I'm seeing for the 1st time: prices almost double and short lines. I believe it's called the law of economics. The defenders of this below are masked management because there is no justification for excessive price increases except greediness by management. I asked several of the long time workers who know me, if they had received a raise. Nope. Greedy management will not allow that to interfere with their pocket filling goals. I fear Tito's has reached the end of their era

Not sure when, but things have changed. I've been going there for 30 years, and the prices went up, which is understandable, but the quality went down.

Over 40 years and this is the first time I've seen this new chip/tortilla... Really a shock!

Actually last two ti es I was there I did get some double layered chips in my box. As far as the other stuff I couldn't tell you. I just discovered this place a month ago. Maybe one of the hardcore regulars can answer.
