California state law does require you to have an adventure pass. As previously stated, though, it's usually not enforced. When hiking the Momyer and Vivien Creek trails, I would also suggest checking in at the ranger station. Better that they know you're up there hiking, just in case.
No. They have separate parking for pass holders and non pass holders. I do not have one and have had no issues
It depends how close you want to park.
