Such a lovey little hike and the waterfalls are amazing.

A quick and short trail to the waterfalls, from the parking lot hang a left at the sign and follow the creek bed and you can’t miss the falls. There’s a small railing up a bit on the side of the hill where you can view the falls but from a distance. You can climb around the rocks to get a better view but climb at your own risk.

Beautiful but crowded. Trash ruins the hike& climb up the falls. If you take it in, take your garbage back out.

This is a pretty great, short hiking trail. It has some great view's along the way to the water falls. You will need to do a bit of climbing in a few spots so it's not for everyone. Also we did run into a rattlesnake along the trail. So be aware of where you step and put your hands.

Call Elkhorn General Store in forest falls. You can get the day passed as well from there.
Nope. It's a National forest preserve and a state park. A pass is needed.
Its Not Really A Hike But a Beautiful Leisurely Walk... Easy and BigFalls Is the Trail Head Inside Forest Falls Area
Do not camp in the waterfall
You can buy your pass in the store next to the restaurant el mexicano. Or you can pay only cash at the cabin were rangers are, right at the entrance. Only cash though. The area with gravel is free. Use your pass only if the area with gravel is full.
California state law does require you to have an adventure pass. As previously stated, though, it's usually not enforced. When hiking the Momyer and Vivien Creek trails, I would also suggest checking in at the ranger station. Better that they know you're up there hiking, just in case.
