Beautiful hike especially when it's green (Feb-April). Nice breeze and places to sit & relax. 360 degree view: you can see Sacramento, Fairfield, Mountain Yuba.

Lovely open area for walking, running, picnicing and bouldering. There are cows roaming freely and swings to swing on. There are some nice steep areas that make it feel like a nice workout. Lots of different paths to take too. I was surprised by how nice of a workout it was! It was pretty brown due to the season but still nice! I think it would be even nicer in the spring!

I love the mountain walk. It is so beautiful in the green of spring... mama cows with their calves share your landscape. Amazing old oak trees. Wild flowers. I love that vacaville sets aside these areas and you can walk/ hike there. Is not for the tender, injured... walks can be very hilly and the terrain challenging with winter hardened mud holes. Careful hikers will totally enjoy. The views are great. Makes me feel I've gotten away from it all and it's great to be alive :)
