Got pulled over for licence plate light being out, and the cop forgot to give me my driver's license back. He had it pinned to his chest, how would i go about getting it back? It was not confiscated or anything like that. Simple mistake thats all

Submit a FOIA (Freedom of information Act), get the bodycam footage, prove he took it from you then file in small claims court for the 35 dollar reimbursement for a new license at the DMV.
