While I don't know much about Voices Of Hope, I've been in BC for 8 years now. We sing a wide variety of songs, ranging from spirituals and classic choral pieces to contemporary pop music!
Add to Ryan's answer BCC will perform songs in many languages other than English. The Premier choir and some of the small sectional choirs are definitely good enough for any public venue.
