I've interacted with Lovin' Spoonfuls regularly over a few years. LS rescues food that would otherwise be wasted, delivering it to people in need. More assistance to people in need combined with less waste is a win-win. Keep up the good work!

Lovin' Spoonfuls has been providing free food for our youth, young adults and families for over 5 years. Many would go hungry were it not for the donation from Lovin' Spoonfuls. RYI is a proud partner of this amazing organization.

Friendly Staff, and great work. They deliver food to Casa Nueva Vida in Roxbury, where residents are able to have access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and other delicious products.

Hi Chris - Our service is free, but we don't distribute food directly to individuals. We provide rescued food to nonprofits. If you or someone you know is in need of free food, one of the organizations that receives our food may be located near you. Hi Annmarie, In order to receive a Lovin' Spoonfuls delivery, we require a central drop-off point that can receive at least 100 pounds of food per delivery. Our trucks are unable to deliver to multiple fridges with smaller deliveries. Spoonfuls deliveries include a mix of fresh fruits and veggies, meat, dairy, bakery items, grocery items, and prepared food. As best they can, our Food Rescue Coordinators work with our nonprofit partners to provide the food they need most from what we rescue.
