I am a licensed manufactured home broker in the state of Florida. The state law is an 80/20 rule however most manufactured home communities are maxed out on their 20% allowance. You and your father could live in the community with him being a snowbird. You both would have to pass a credit check and a criminal background check. The lat. Rent in this community is 640 and 650. Guidelines are 1st occupant is 55 and no occupant in the home can be under 21 years old. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or view my website here www.championmobilehome.com
If I'm over 55 can 40 year old son live with .e too.
I'm 48, no kids. Would that 10% apply to me? Or if my father would buy, could I live there if he was a snowbird? Thank you
Its a 55 plus community but state law says 10% of population can be under 55. Plus if disabled or have a relative there the law does not apply. Although if under 55 no kids are allowed
