I have been a patient at this office for many years and never had any issues with the exception of changes two different doctors. I called today to make an appointment and was given a time of 10:00 am. I arrived early and literally watched the waiting room clear out. I walk up to the front desk and question if maybe I have been overlooked. The very same person who checked me in advises that my appointment time was actually 11:15???? No, I was told 10:00 am. If you knew when you checked me that I was super early then why would you not indicate that to me and allow me the option to choose what I wanted to do with the extra 1 hr and 15 minutes that I will not get back today.

Since joining the Millennium Physicians Group this practice has become utter trash. 1. It is impossible to get a human being located in the actual office on the phone. Their automated phone system kicks you over to the equivalent of a Comcast call center where you sit on hold for eleventy years or (AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE) when you opt to leave a message it hangs up on you. The joy. 2. They do not return messages from the patient portal within the 1 business day window they say they do. You’ve got about a 10% chance that they’ll respond at all, ever. So you’ve got no ability to reach anyone via phone OR online which they prompt you to use. 3. They scam their existing patients and bill them as “new patients”. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been going there to the same doctor for years, since they joined a new physicians group they can get away with charging you for a new patient rundown. Even though I’m exactly the same person that’s been going there for years and they already have all of my medical history on file. Oh, and if you try to contact them about this, they just don’t care and don’t respond. 4. I have called to make four appointments with our doctor over the past year and only one time was she available. So I made the appointment for A MONTH OUT and wouldn’t you know a week later they called to cancel the appointment. 5. I’ve had to pick up my medical records twice from them because they couldn’t be bothered to send them to the specialists that requested them when they had weeks to do so. I mean, what the hell?! This practice is 10000000% about all the ways they can squeeze money out of their patients. If we’re going to be screwed into paying to be new patients TWICE (because I’ve got the medical records/receipts to prove it) we’re going to be actual new patients at a practice where we get to see our doctor, speak to human beings in the office and are just generally not treated like our lives, health and time don’t matter.

I'm a nervous patient, and everyone in this office made me feel at ease. I was able to get a same-day appointment and the wait time was under ten minutes even though I was a new patient. I saw a Nurse Practitioner and she was very, very thorough, knowledgeable, and concerned. I feel like I received top-notch care and I'm thrilled to have a new primary care physician. I won't say I can't wait to go back, but I will certainly be less nervous the next time I need to.

The front desk staff is very unprofessional. I have visited the office 3 times within the past month and with all of my visits I have arrived 15 minutes early and I was not seen until at least 40 minutes after my appointment time. Why schedule me an appointment when I have to wait over an hour? I am currently sitting in the office (it's 12:50), my appointment was at 12:15 but the receptionist told me to come in as soon as possible, therefore I arrived at 12:00. This is ridiculous. I will be finding a new doctors office for my future appointments. One that doesn't forget about their patients for an hour after their scheduled appointment time.

Best look up the phone # again; I am a patient and my phone # should not have been given out. They are open until 6 p.m.

How do I get a copy of my medical records

You can go to the office and they will have you sign a release form. There is a fee for them and they will call you when they're ready. If you need it for another doctor that doctor can send a release form to the office and then the new doctor will get the records..that service has no fee
