Arlene Pesavento we do have a really great Year and A Day class. It is for a year long. We advertise it in September for sign up in October. We require you to attend our introductory classes in November so you can see all that's involved. There are around 12 - 18 classes per year and cost is $20. Yes we do have a strict attendance policy because we want you to get all the information available and to take the class seriously. Classes are on Fridays at 7pm, rituals that occur on Saturdays may need your attendance as early as 5pm. It is a very good class and you will get so much out of it. If you see it thru, you will not regret it. Hope to see you in October to sign up or sooner to visit is at the shop. Blessings! Pearl Prather
Wicca 101 and the "Year and a Day" are totally different. I'm not sure when the next Wicca 101 class is being held. I'd call the store to find out. The "Year and a Day" does have a strict attendance policy. If you have three unexcused absences you will be spoken with. The Y&ad class is more in depth and allows you to explore. Sign-up is near the end of the year, look for it around Halloween.
They usually start them once a year. I wouldn't waste a dime on anyones year and a day classes. You miss a class you're out,no refunds and you are NOT guaranteed a place in their coven at the end. You can spend that money on your own books, supplies meet other witches and start your own. And FYI....a year and a day class does not a witch make and neither does the new religion that is Wicca.
