Great place for a bicycle ride. Partly shaded depending on sun angle. Clean smooth paved path (on the loop). You can park from Bruce B Downs or Morris Bridge. You can vary your route to bike between 8 and 12 miles for a single loop. Highly recommended.

Our favorite place to ride our bikes. Have seen deer, turkeys alligators, and turtles. I am slow rider and overtaking bikers are supposed to yell on your left but some of them are so loud that even though I have already heard them coming. I jump.

The facilities are very well maintained! Lots of cool native Florida plants around the building, the butterfly garden was very pretty. This is a great trail for biking, rollerblading, running, walking, getting out with your dog, and nature. Watching. Lots of wildlife, birds, bunnies, deer, hogs. This is such a beautiful area to relax and get into nature!

Went on a nice 7 mile walk on Flatwoods trail. I went later in the day and the sun was setting about 3/4 of the way through. I didnt see anywhere, but they closed earlier than what it says on the page, right now it was 6:00 pm. I barely made it at 5:50, although im assuming i could've still gotten out. I saw water stations in the first 4 miles (?) But i dont recall after that. Beautiful and well kept so i recommend, although it was a little chilly. More pictures on insta, @traveling_with_z

It was when I visited around a month ago
Well, there are no mountains in Florida. I myself only ride the paved portion of Flatwoods trails, but I'm told there is a significant amount of unpaved, wooded trail available.
Some motorized "vehicles" are allowd, e-bikes for instance, but there is a posted maximum allowable speed for such vehicles.
It should be open for limited time but if not the trails should be still open
You can enter off Morris Bridge. Parking is $2/vehicle
Restrooms are also open again but no water stations on the trails as of June 4th 2020
I would do it!
I am sure part of the trail is under water right now but between 8 and 9 am
I'm not sure I go to the Flatwoods bike trail but the canoe launch is just off Morris Bridge Road if there's fishing anywhere I think it would be there.
Flatwoods doesn't have that facility but you could go to Hillsborough Wilderness Park and do it. I think it was around $29-$39 and you'll like it there! Hope this helps.
If it was closed yesterday it is closed today.
No camping, No overnight.
Is that 7am? It said due to the holiday it might be different tnx u!!!
