Yes! While we are accepting walk-ins, we are asking that everyone possible schedule an appointment so that we can prevent too many people from being in the building at one time. In person appointments are being spaced out by 45 to 90 minutes. Our waiting and tax preparation areas spaced out so that you're not too close to those around you. We are also cleaning & sanitizing our office daily and wiping down surfaces more often as necessary. Employees are required to stay home until they test negative for coronavirus if they show any signs of being sick.

Yes! We offer both virtual tax preparation & self-guided tax preparation online. You can use any device for either option. With virtual preparation you'll be able to see & speak to your tax preparer as your tax return is being prepared. You'll also be able to see the tax return on your computer screen as it's being worked on. It's like visiting our office without leaving your home. You must set an appointment, at which time your tax preparer or accountant will call you before sending you your link to our virtual meeting room. If you prefer to submit everything yourself, we have a self-guided option on our website that allows you to enter your information for each part of the tax return & upload your tax documents. Once all of your information & tax documents have been submitted, we complete preparation for you so that you know your tax return is done correctly.

Advance related fees depend on how much you are actually approved for. What sets our advance program apart from everyone else is that if you get a lower amount your fees will be significantly less than the maximum that we show you when you apply. More than 85% of applicants have been approved so far in 2022, so almost everyone will get something. However, in the event that you are denied entirely we won't charge any of the advance fees, so you only pay the normal tax preparation fee.

While our primary service is tax preparation, we are actually a full service accounting firm. We offer bookkeeping, payroll, and business tax prep. We also do new business registrations & existing business renewals. Small business is our lead accountant's specialty area, and we currently service more than 150 small businesses throughout the six bay area counties.

No. We are open all year long. If anything arises with a client's tax return, or if a client needs something urgently, we are here for them, even on holidays.

Yes! We waive all preparation fees for certain taxpayers. These groups include small business owners (personal tax return only), dependent students, dependents children, and people who have nothing other than social security income & stimulus money to claim on their tax return.

We charge a low, flat fee that is a fraction of what the national tax prep companies charge. You're welcome to call us for pricing ahead of time or ask us at the office. You will know what the exact charge is for your tax return before we start working on it.
