I know someone who needs to find a good home for their dog. Can you please help? She is a very sweet and smart and loving dog who deserves a loving family instead of being put down because of her breed. She is an American Staffordshire Terrier

You can't just take pets there anymore you have too schedule an appointment so they can evaluate your animal's behavior & they will charge you a surrender fee if they say the pet is adoptable!! Appts are almost 2mos out as well, so your best bet is too find someone yourself that would be willing too adopt her. There are pitbull shelters/rescues you should check with if you don't have any luck finding someone yourself. I'd also suggest too go ahead and make that appointment with ACPS, just too be on the safe side and there's no other option left for you!! Or better yet have her deemed an emotional support dog and then no-one can deny you from having her regardless of her breed!!! Plus you can NEVER be charged a pet deposit for her if you do that...just an "f.y.i." for ya!! That's what I'm doing with mine right now!! This is a no kill shelter if the dog is deemed adoptable. There are specific hours for animal turn-in, and there may be a fee.

This is a no kill shelter, you'll just have to go in or call them, they were very helpful with the mama cat and her kittens I took in.
