As a previous resident of the coalition I agree mostly with everything Tamara said it would help if you also had your social security card. They require an application to stay and on average it takes about two months to get in meanwhile while you wait the Salvation Army is not far. The coalition has several programs they have first steps which is a 6 month drug recovery program they also have a year long program for those not in need of drug abuse assistance

You need a DL. They have substance abuse program there. I believe they are full, but call 211 & they will let you know what place has a bed available. They also have that you pay $2 a night & sleep on a mat on the floor, but you have to be there by 7pm. Only a few are allowed. Good luck Greyhound is like 10min walk.
