Must be street legal to ride through the campground and on highways to forest back roads. Hanna Flat and Holecomb Valley campgrounds are directly on Forest Roads, but I believe both have closed for the season.
So it's not like pine flats where you can just ride straight from camp?
If you are talking about dirtbikes that you pedal just park outside the camp grounds and join the path that goes along side the campgrounds. There are many other trails of varying difficulty that lead into the hills. If you are talking about motor powered dirt bikes you will need to ride normal roads to get to the many awsome miles of designated dirt roads.
If you are talking about a dual sport street legal dirt bike, yes. However there is no access to trails for non street legal dirt bikes. Look into Crab Flats campground for that.
You can park outside the campground and ride a bike. There is a nice parking area just before the entrance.
