Had just reopened
it's open. Still some snow in shady areas. Be prepared for cold freezing temperatures. Right now 3.20.2019 it is snowing. Possibly 6 inches tonight. Roads are R2 conditions which means chains are required on 2wd vehicles. No crowds due to these conditions but for camping that's a good thing right,. Lake opens on April 1, 2019 and the crowds will return. Lake is now in great shape fishing is good everywhere for trout.
