No
It's relatively safe at night. There isn't very much risk of violence, however, there are a lot of homeless wandering around. There are also quite a bit of police patrols.
It depends on what you are afraid of.
yes i was perfectly fine and comfortable with it .
I would say the amount of homeless People make it rather uncomfortable if you are not used to crowds of them.
Me and my family hung out till like 11pm on a Friday Night and it was chill . No problems . Me my Wife and 8 and 9 year old . Great City loved it.
Yes. Many homeless but felt very safe. Wish we could have stayed longer. Like another person here said. It depends on what you are afraid of... Felt very safe and comfortable.
I have never felt safer in any big city. I am totally comfortable in the streets here.
Not really
My granny and i used to rob folks here... i mean.... walk hand in hand when i was 5yo at xmas time & year round. Yes it is safe. Keep ur head about you. Make eye contact. Act like you belong there, because you do. It is beautiful at night. Safest place to visit after dark in that area of SF tho HAS to be Yerba Buena Gardens & the water fall memorial. I was baptized across the street in the "little" church.
There are homeless everywhere, but it all depends on where in the city you stay. Unfortunately, the tenderloin district is an area we were told to stay away from, when we first came to Cali. Especially at night.
I'm the moron who somehow thought that kryptonite cable locks, more than one of them, which was fine in Sarasota, FLA, would sufficient in San Francisco - I parked at Union Square, could hear the saxophone player in the distance, walkrd to Starbucks - by the time I returned to my truck 10 minutes later? my custom mountain bike had vanished -- San Francisco, you're a b****
The square yes, the adjacent streets a little less, but overall the streets of SF do not suck fear
Herion needles, pee and poop, hookers and thieves. If you are big, or in a group, you should be fine. But don't bring valuables with you
Yes. Of course theirs less fortunate people honestly that’s everywhere in the city. Just mind your business and be nice to people and you’ll be golden at any time during the day or night
Yes or no
