Got a late night flight coming in and need to get in to the city, I read that BART is a good option, but is it safe to ride BART at night going into Downtown Oakland, or am i better off getting a cab?

Cab or Uber/lyft, (Do Not Ride Bart). Don't do it at night im 6'5 300 pounds and I was genuinely concerned for my Safety at night. but i had no option and couldn't afford any other route... my advice is go to the airport during the day and stay there until your flight is ready to go, or stay at the airport until the morning find somewhere to lay down and sleep

I agree, its best not to take the BART late night. Try Uber or Lyft or maybe friends or family.

Better take uber or lyft... or a texi at night... or ask a friend for a safer way to get your destination.

If you can afford it take the cab

I personally love Bart but I'm not sure how safe it is in that area at night :/
