The lake is just a short walk from the campsites. We just went this past weekend. It's really packed with day users who were getting wet in it.. I personally wouldn't get in. It's great for fishing though. Pretty cool campground overall.
Lake is super close just down the little Hill. You can see it. Lake is for fishing but not for swimming. Bring bug spray.
