Yes, you can surrender pets that you no longer want but you have to pay around $25.00 to leave a dog, $15.00 to leave a cat and so forth. You also have to bring an identification with you such as your driver's license and be ready to answer some questions as to why you are surrendering him. A pet is part of the family it is not an old garment that you can discard simply because you no longer want it. Would you have liked it if your parents had gotten rid of you just because they were fed up with caring for you? If for some reason he is killed it will only be your fault for being so selfish and cruel! Have some compassion for him because he kept you company and consoled you and the rest of your family when you were sad! Don't just think of yourself! Not even god sees your cruel way of rewarding hem with favor! One day you can become helpless and others can disposed of you too! You know? Haven't you thought about it! Face reality, only god is indispensible!

The shelter can receive any pet 24/7. They are very good at finding new homes for pets. However it should be a last resort after trying friends, family, or private rescue groups. There is no guarantee they will find a home and pets can run the risk of being euthanized if it isn't adopted within a reasonable amount of time. There is no set time for how long they can hold them. It's usually based on how much space they have, how friendly, and how healthy the animal is. There is also a fee to drop your pet off depending on what kind of a pet it is. They will also need to see your ID.

Yes. But they would be subject to being euthanized if not quickly adopted. Better to put them in a true No Kill shelter.
