Are cats bathed at intake? I just adopted a cat and want to give her a bath but a little nervous. If she’s been bathed recently I can wait a few days and take her to a groomers

If you want to bathe your kitty wait from 15 to 22 days for the surgery to heal because other wise instead of healing the wound is going to rot. Give him some cat nip to eat right before you bathe him because this has a sedating effect. Good luck!

No bathing is provided unless there is a medical need. When the cat is fixed consult the surgeon and after care instructions for when it's safe to groom it. The cat has to fully heal from the surgery first.

Animals are not banned at intake. Neutering and spaying is done.
