In order to play with a dog, you need to express interest in adopting the dog to one of the employees who will arrange to allow you spend some time with the dog in a fenced play/acquaintance area. Staff doesn't allow people to simply ask to play with the animals otherwise. But yes, if adopting, then kids are welcome.
Absolutely! Adopting a new family member includes all of your existing family so the more that can meet, the better! Now, you say "play" and I'm assuming you mean for the purpose of adoption or perhaps some volunteer program? If it is the latter, you would definitely need to contact the shelter or organization you are representing. Very good luck to you and your's and have a wonderful day! :)
