She is right, but don't forget the price of lumber has skyrocketed....you might be able to snag one along the tracks....every now and then they leave extras from the jobs along the side of the tracks...just say'in....
U gotta look on line they are not in store but there are similar pressure treated woods that will pass for railroad ties it just depends on what you are looking for
