I can always find something I need here. I was looking for shelving to make a cat run. Found it with the shelve brackets, and then rug runners to make it comfortable for them. Even found some filing boxes to put on my desk, light switch covers, a nice quilted blanket, and gardening supplies. The staff and volunteers are really friendly and don't mind questions or helping you out if it is too much for you to carry to your car.. In hardware I bought an extention pole for painting, some flue materials to make a garden structure. They have some really nice furniture and many other bargains. This place is worth looking into.

Disappointing! I had something on hold bc I forgot my credit card and bc I was 15 minutes late the next day, they gave it away to another. That piece has been there for a long time and all of a sudden, someone else wants it, and they didn't bother calling me. Rude with terrible customer service. Note: i was only 15 min late. U had my number and knew i wanted it. I was arranging delivery. Your policy sucks for customer service. U didn’t care.

worst place to deal with to donate perfect working washer and dryer. Number 1: clerk who answered phone and told me yes they accept them, told me where to bring them. We get there, only to be told they look at them first before determining if they want them, guess they don't like to help out people in need as they should, they refused perfect working appliances!! Number 2: waste of our time going, not once did the clerk on the phone tell me that they have to look at them first, I wouldn't have wasted my time. Definitely will never donate or help Habitat for Humanity for donating goods to those in need. What a joke they are!!!!!! Only gave one star because I had to in order to send review. Would give No Stars!!

Very nice HHR stocked with high-end and often unused items. Because it is situated in the pricey East Bay area outside of San Francisco they receive donations of surplus from projects in $1M homes. They have a lot of furniture, and almost all of it is in good shape such that it would be the pride of any modest home. They are lacking in power tools, doors and windows. However the hardware and fastener selection is huge. Visit and you are almost guaranteed to find something you want and at a bargain price.

There is also a book depository out on Ygnacio Valley Road. It is right by Bancroft in that shipping center. Big green box behind the gas station.
