In reading the reviews it appears 1 HOA may have issues with the Board, community or rules. Residents seem quick to blame a management company rather than volunteer to be on the board or committees that could create positive changes. Management companies follow the direction of the board. People buy a home with an HOA and rules yet feel they don't have to follow them. So they lash out.
It appears that the HOA has trouble actually listening and/ or responding to the residents of a particular neighborhood, then hold their meetings on a Tuesday at 1:00 and wonder why no one from said neigborhood shows up. If they actually wanted community involvement, they'd be more accessible and not hold their meetings in the middle of the average workday. Who votes on the resolutions? Who chooses the board members? But if it weren't for fake reviews, they might have to actually see the 1-stars and possibly address the problems they're causing.
