The SS office will NEVER call you like that be careful! I had that happen to me a few times and reported it to the office with the phone numbers they were calling from.

No it is Fishing Scam, to be Safe you should call them. Scammers can fake the number to make it look like Social Security is calllng is you, nevwr give your SS# out to ANYONE,,not even your kids, as they can create credit cards in youe name and put you on debt in a month
