Keep in mind that if a person there doesn't want to talk to you at first they won't tell you they don't want to talk to you I had that experience with my son he got to busy hanging out with the other kids or was having a bad time etc. you as a parent can ask for daily reports if that happens
You just need to keep calling back they generally have a lot of patients per unit with calls and needs and lots of therapy times so it gets hectic in there. I just call before group because it's easier to get through

When my child was released he told me he saw phone calls coming in for a kid who was sitting right there but the parent was told they were "very busy" and could not talk. I asked if perhaps the child did not want to talk and my kid said nope, that was not the case. Even my child was outraged to see this!
