That would be so great. We love it when a pet can leave the shelter as soon as possible. An owner has 4 days after the intake day to claim a pet. On the fifth business day, the pet is adoptable. Special circumstances are pets that are coming in from the Carr Fire area. We are holding those pets 30 days because of all the displacement of families from the area. Please go to our website (or come to Haven) and fill out an adoption application and return it to us so you can pre-qualify. We will make a note that you want to adopt if not claimed.
