Yes they have. I was there and Colusa NWR Monday and Wednesday. White fronted geese were much in evidence. The Snow geese were not yet filling inner basins but covered adjacent wetlands. Further east, in the Feather River rice irrigation, waves of Snow geese in every direction made the sky shimmer. Sand Hill Cranes fractured the night with their skwaaaking. And congregations of swans occupy some fields, excluding the more timid geese.
