I see where tents are not allowed for overnight stays during the hunting season, only RVs. What about truck bed tents the kind that stay in the bed of the truck, they are kind of like a camper. Would they be allowed?

The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge is a network of refuges. There is one main one off of I-5. The others just have camping Hunter's campgrounds, i.e. RVs. I don't know of any of these refuges that have actual camping campgrounds. Better call ahead.
