Most snow geese are leaving the area for Canada now.

I was there 2 weeks ago and I saw 2 large flocks of herons, ducks, plenty of Jack rabbits hopping around, turtles sunbathing and pheasants . I read the best time to see the Snow Geese is the Winter time (Dec-Feb) . The ducks and geese leave for their breeding grounds in Spring ( March-May). Its an amazing place.

I'm not sure about the snow geese but there should be plenty of wildlife to view.

By visiting ebird you can explore hotspots and SNW is one of them you should be able to see what was there recently.
