I'm 64 yrs old and disabled. I have to move out of my apartment because the owner wants to remodel. I do not have any monies to do so and will be homeless unless I get some assistance with deposits and other moving expenses. Can you help me?

It’s TBRA (Tenant Based Rental Assistance). It’s a county program with boundaries outside Redding City Limits. It does cover entire city of Anderson. U can gyet $1000 for deposits and up to 70 percent off rent. Have to submit 3 years of tax info, SSA bene award letter, photo ID, SS card, & 3-6 mos banking statements. DAC is a referral agency for this 12-month voucher program that rolls over to a HUD voucher. They can give U an application, but u still have to find a place on your own that accepts the voucher. TBRA is run by Shasta Housing Community Action Agency. They have to approve U.
