One of the only places around NorCal/Southern Oregon that does excellent international passport and other document photos! If you need passport photos or citizenship document photos ~ highly recommend coming here. Very friendly, willing to work through things and get things perfect for important documents.

I purchased a Sony A 6000 camera along with several accessories and a couple of classes a few years ago. I have since moved to Ashland and had a question about a problem I was having with the camera. I called and was always told "Harvey" was the Sony expert, but he isn't in at the time, but we'll have Harvey give you a call. Harvey never called, even after one employee I spoke with said Crown Camera takes care of their customers! I assume "Harvey" provides the staff with a little humor at the customers expense. I had some pictures of my parents wedding from 1975 that were poor quality, so decided to have them reprinted.(for their 45th anniversary)I was ecstatic how "Great" they looked after they reprinted them. Also, I had a cassette tape of the ceremony that was broken and Jeff went above and beyond to fix the cassette and put it on a cd for them. I highly recommend Crown photo &Video.

Visited with my "new to me" D500 and was met with a man completely full of knowledge and more friendly than I ever expected from a professional photographer. He corrected an issue (user error) I had and gave me some awesome direction. I drove over an hour to this shop and am so thankful I did. I will be coming back for my next big purchase! And to note, prices are very competitive!!!!!

Hi Nani! We are located right behind our former corner location at 1360 Tehama Street in Downtown Redding! We have scaled back some of the services we have offered in the past (e.g., camera repair services), but continue to offer a wide range of quality photographic, printing and enlarging, color correction and audio/video services as we have in the past! Thank you for your question because I'm sure other people will want to know the answer to this as well!!!
Hi Joe! We still develop 35mm and 120mm black and white film in-house. What has changed is we wore out our C-41 Color Print Film developing machine, so we are sending color print film for developing to our outlab service for now until we purchase a new film processor!!!
Hi Melissa, I'm sorry but we no longer clean cameras or handle camera repair services. Our new focus is offering high quality photographic and audio/video services to our community.
Yes! We can take your electronic JPEG image and print what is called a photo locket sheet that prints that image in various sizes depending on the size of photo locket you have! If you locket is a particular size, we can also make custom size prints to fit!
No it’s not hard...if you have standard slides. There are both just slide converters and scanners that can handle standard 2x2 slides.
Hi Ashlie! Yes! What size is the photo? We will carefully remove it from the frame, and scan the image on our flatbed scanner. If there is any damage, we can fix that using Photoshop! If the damage is extensive or involved adjusting for fading color, we have Photoshop experts that can fix all sorts of things! At your convenience, please bring in the picture so we can examine it to determine exactly what needs to be done! Sincerely, Jeff
Two hours of video transferred to A DVD is $34.99, We do all the transfer right here in-house. Mention that you got this information on Google and we will give you an extra DVD at no charge! Sincerely Frank Tona Manager

I'm sorry but we don't buy used camera or lenses. We hear so many stories of camera gear that gets stolen from our customers, and then they come into our store and try to sell it to us. We don't know where some camera gear comes from, so we don't take the change in the first place.
Timothy is correct. We send cameras that need repair to original manufacturer or an authorized service center--whatever is the right thing to do for you. We provide an assessment in-house to determine if camera repair is feasible for you, and provide an cost estimate based on other previous types of similar camera repairs have been going for. If the cost of repair is higher than buying a new or used product, we can generally give you a heads-up so you're not wasting your time and dollars!
We do not buy used lenses
