If you are passing through Quincy, MA. To view the mansion you can park on Adams ST. In front of the Adams Mansion and walk the 1/8th of a mile to the visitors center. You can buy tickets and souvenirs there. Get there early.
I second, No RV parking on the site. You may be able to park on Adams Street with permission, and do the shuttle tour if you pay online. It's worth the history when you see how much the Adams's did for our country.
No. Adams National Park isn't an open land park like most national parks that come to mind. The visitors center is in downtown Quincy which is a city, so there isn't open land for camping or RV'ing. You would need to go in a car and park in a parking garage or on a street. From there you take a shuttle that brings you to Adam's home growing up then to his mansion, both of which you will receive a guided tour.

do you have to take a tour? Are the grounds open to the public and one can just walk them?
