Hi Nicole! It depends on which type of animal, but typically that number is about 50%. On chicken for example, our farmers make about 10x more than industrial commodity farmers. We partner with many different farms in MA - we buy eggs from Anna Houston & Rob Perazzo in Mill River, MA for example, or Peter Heins in Westminster MA for pork; Stephen Hall for chicken in Dracut, and others! We label every cut with a farmer name and town :). Let us know if you have any other questions, we're happy to help!

I'm not sure what farms in MA that they use. I'm pretty sure the farmers get the amount they would normally get when they send their animals to slaughter. I know most of not all their meats are processed and packed at Vermont packing house because I work for a trucking company that transports a lot of their goods for them, including eggs and mailers they send out.
