Best Buy will not work on anything that is not covered by a Geek Squad program. This is from recent experience. I had asked about having them look at an item that they actually carried of mine. They'd be responsible if they caused further damage.
They do employ Samsung dedicated employees, but you will only find them there on the weekends.
They will help, how much it depends.

I believe there is a Samsung dealer that you could possibly inside Best Buy they have separate kiosk for different companies but I did bring mine too and mine was under warranty but they could possibly tell you
