I dont think so, but I guarantee if you walk in and say you found this stray animal, they dont. Please though, there are many better avenues and none contain a potential death sentence, and thats why there are so many other ways of finding an easier path for that animal, dog cat rabbit whatever your animal might be. Its as easy as maybe 1 or 2 websearches, and likely only 1 phone call, surely that animal wasnt that bad of a pet? Finding their next caretaker is simple.
I am not really sure how much but they will charge you for surrendering this pet. If I were you I would show him or her some compassion by enlisting the help of a friend, a family member or by paying someone to help me take care of him or her when for some reason I don't have time to do so. Or I would take him or her to a no kill shelter such as best friends animal society in mission hills or the pasadena humane society at 361 south raymond Avenue. Show some compassion don't just think of yourself!
