I would try to avoid parking in the LA Live underground lot. It's twice as much as the nearby offsite lots. Save that money for the $15 beers at the Novo.
It can be bad, expensive, overcrowded or sold out, if there is a game or multiple events at staples, Microsoft Theater, etc. I use the option of looking for free parking on Olympic Blvd to the west when i really don't want to pay parking fees.
There's plenty of fairly priced parking lots within a block of LA Live.
I parked across the street from the novo $20 all night.
