really enjoy going to concerts here... parking is right next to the venue... if it wasn't for how sketchy the area is at night and frankly all the time, I'd give it 5 stars. venue and staff are excellent and efficient. saw sigrid here and she was incredible as always!

Love this venue. Great ambiance and intimate setting for any performance. Have seen two concerts here now. The staff are very kind when getting drinks, with touch screens to purchase the drinks on. The acoustics of the theater are optimal, and you can almost feel the theater's history when admiring the aesthetics. Overall, highly recommended for any show!

I saw Frances Karel and Max last night and it was epic. The atmosphere has me still pumped the day after. It was my first live concert since pandemic started. I really liked that one can pay for parking online or via an app before hand to the lot right next to the Fonda Theatre. The staff was super prompt to check for vaccinations, IDs, and tickets while folks were still in line. They had a streamline security process for entry. The doors opened at 8 and the show started promptly on time. The sound system is really well integrated and balance so I didn't feel too much bass unlike some other venues. I could hear the singer clearly along with the accompanying instruments. I had a great view from the floor and never felt crowded. They also have a small balcony and I really like the intimate nature of the theatre. I will definitely make the trek again from the Laguna all the way up to Hollywood/LA to attend more shows at the Fonda.

Now this place was cool! Super intimate and Idles gave us a great show. Mixed drinks were slightly over 10 dollars which was more than reasonable.

They are all usually a little late. Expect a hard stop at 11:30
Yeah, it's best to call and ask about specific events.
Most shows end about 10:30 to 11pm
Depends on where you are standing. It can definitely get warm when it's crowded.
Yes, from what I recall! The space has 2 side ramps to get from the lobby down to the audience space, and it does not have steps to enter the building. The ramps are a teeny bit steep from what I remember, but doable.
I haven't been in that situation, but I'm sure U do.
No. Not a place for children.
Should come in an email. You print up and bring it with you and security scans it and hour good to go
There is enough room for 250 people on first floor, balcony there is around 20 seats or so.
There are seats upstairs. So even if you have a ga ticket you can head upstairs and sit. Seating is limited up there so if you want a seat get up there early
Call the box office there at the Fonda and someone from security or the box office staff will give you the answer you're looking for
Tickets for shows check box office as well as online
Get balcony seats and get there around 2 hours early.
Yes...
Yes
Call the theatre, duh.
Yes. Last time I went they had even stopped checking tickets to get the balcony so all tickets were the same essentially.
Yeah, the balcony is great !! But it's first come, first serve. Even if you tix has a seat number, it's not valid. I saw Black Label Society there sitting balcony, IT WAS EPIC !!
Depends on the concert. As in, whoever is performing.
From what i saw, yes. You are given wristbands at the entrance that denote to the staff for drinking status or not (i saw other wristbands that might have denoted that the person was a minor.) Do take this answer with a grain of salt as i do not live in the area and but was there for a concert. You may have better luck directly contacting the theater itself if you haven't tries to do so already. Hope this helps!
Roscoes chicken and waffles is right around corner on Gower
Most shows end by 11 p.m. To 11:30 p.m.
They put wristbands on the people with floor tickets and only allow them on the floor.
No
