Is it ok to make reviews on a business that is adjacent to another unaffiliated company. Both negative reviews are by a family that were patrons of the Pan restaurant located next door to a confidential professional therapist's office.

Confidentiality is very strict. People who attack centers designed to help society and bound by confidentiality are not something I concern myself about. Domestic Violence and Child Abuse is about positive conflict resolution.

No it is never okay to review a business you have never been to nor make false reports on an individual or organization that you have absolutely no knowledge of. To do so can lead to legal challenges if your comments made in ignorance cause harm to another. While you are protected by the Freedom of Speech you cannot make false allegations with defamation of an entity. For example, if a stranger offends you and you falsely accuse the doctor in an office you have never seen nor met and post it to the world, you can be held criminally and or financially responsible for any negative occurrences that may result. Thanks for the great question Ryan. Now for Google's legal obligation. Ignorance is not an excuse.
