Options Counseling is a court mandated domestic violence and child abuse center as well as individual counseling ran by a wonderful therapist. I can understand some of negative reviews as it is embarrassing to have been convicted of criminal abuse. The first step I learned was to take responsibility for my actions before I could learn positive conflict resolution. I feel sorry for those who fail to get the benefits of learning to be better. Thank you as you saved my marriage.

whomever wrote the bad comments have no idea or they lack the capacity to be honest with themselves. Dr. Ellen Alberstdon has helped me tremendously and I have only been going to her since June. She is a no nonsense straight to the truth kind of therapist and has called me out a couple times already. If I wanted a dr that told me what I wanted to hear rather than what I needed to hear then what good would that be. If you truly want your eyes opened to who you really are as a person then she is the dr for you. dont waste your money elsewhere. Just my humble opinion

Confidentiality is very strict. People who attack centers designed to help society and bound by confidentiality are not something I concern myself about. Domestic Violence and Child Abuse is about positive conflict resolution.
Never for clients ordered by the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County Probation Department, Department of Children and Family Services, Family Court or Parole. Individuals occasionally are able to get services through Insurance. The Individual must ask their provider and petition to have it paid. In most cases we can not.
The numbers are the same since 1982. Hours during the pandemic are 7 days a week. Approximately 6:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. for calls. All information is on optionscounseling.org
