8 of us are going on a Monday. Is there a restaurant in the exhibit building? Most restaurants are closed on Monday. If we were to bring lunch, is there a place to eat?

No, and the neighborhood is uber sketch. Homeless literally within feet of the door.

The rooftop was closed when we went there but perhaps its open only in Evening. We were there for a 2pm viewing. After the show we headed up to North Beach lots of restaurants open any day of the week.

The rooftop Cafe is like a hotbox made of plastic. I would suggest anyplace else.

They have a small rooftop cafe near the exit. Not many options on the menu, but sufficient for snacks.
